FA-MLI’s 32nd Annual Malcolm X Festival celebrated the Black Arts Renaissance in Leimert Park, featuring the symposium Architects of the Leimert Park Black Arts Village Renaissance.
Speakers included jazz vocalist Dwight Trible of the World Stage, KAOS Network founder Ben Caldwell, master drummer Timothy Morganfield of the Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center, musicians Aaron Hall, Kensha Bell and Brandon Forte, and World Stage co-founder Torrénce Brannon-Reese.
