Themed Music Saved My Life: Architects of Da Renaissance, the 13th Annual I’ve Known Rivers Film Festival celebrated the transformative power of music and honored the contributions of disabled musicians to American culture.
Inspired by Torrénce Brannon-Reese’s experiences with disabled musicians in New Orleans and his work with disabled veterans, the evening featured live music, a short film showcase, spoken word, fashion and dance. Admission was free, with donations welcome.
