“I’ll Make Me A World” is a vibrant celebration of the legendary artists who crafted the soundscape of SOUL & FUNK music. From Sly Stone’s groundbreaking fusion of genres to the soulful expressions of Al Green, the powerful voice of Aretha Franklin, and the smooth tunes of Luther Vandross, this event honors the musical pioneers who’ve left an indelible mark on the world.
Featuring performances by Torrence BRANNON & his Everything with Soul band, and special performances by A. Grace, and Norman Carter who’ll be doing a cool tribute to Eddie Kendricks. The evening will honor local comedic talent, Ms. Ramona Stephens, and showcase special vocal performances by Arlando, Faleisha Diamond, and Anthony “Tony” Snead of Street Corner Renaissance.
