Both are part-time, exempt positions. The normal workweek for each position is 10 hours max, in support of our non-profit outreach and communications efforts.
Location: Due to Covid-19, our positions are WFH (Work from home).

Part Time Executive Assistant

Responsibilities
Schedule and oversee Google Calendar:
- booking appointments such as meetings; making zoom reservations; setting up meetings
Competitive Research on Foundations:
- Researching directors and vendor procedures, researching hiring/business-related questions.
Competitive Research on Charter Schools In California:
- Researching directors, staff and contact information
- Schedule weekly calls to Foundations for fundraising efforts
Qualifications:
- Must be detail-oriented, communicate well, and prioritize tasks while allowing time for the employer to maintain a creative workflow
- Must have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with other staff and high-profile external contacts
- Must be incredibly tech-savvy and love learning how to use new tools.
Proficiency in the following digital tools are required:
- Gmail
- Google Calendar
- Spreadsheet (eg, Google Spreadsheets)
- Quickbooks
- What’s App
- Previous use of Mailchimp or Constant Contact (ideal)
Part Time Social Media Assistant

Responsibilities
Contribute to Calendar of posts on Facebook, Instagram, & Famlisoul.org/category/newsletter
- Compile, compose, and review post drafts, for public release
- Schedule appointments for virtual and in-person interviews of program participants
- Pitch media events and stories to Media Contacts
- Manage List of Media Contacts
- Respond to and screen calls, emails, and requests of VP and Executive Director
Competitive Research on Online Marketing by similar and successful Non Profit Organizations
- Monitor trends in posts within Facebook, Instagram, Organization Newsletters
Qualifications:
- Must be detail-oriented, communicate well, and prioritize tasks while allowing time for the employer to maintain a creative workflow
- Must have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with other staff and high-profile external contacts
- Must be incredibly tech-savvy and love learning how to use new tools.
