Legendary Nights is proud to present “Da 70s, Celebrating Our Musical RENAISSANCE!” on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at the Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center. This special Father’s Day show will feature an incredible lineup of legendary artists, including Earth, Wind & Fire, The Main Ingredient, The Chi Lites, The Emotions, Chaka Khan, LTD, Kool & the Gang, Al Green, Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, Sly Stone, Maze, The Stylistics, and the Manhattans.
About the Event:
Legendary Nights is a fundraiser dedicated to supporting our agency and its interlocking youth empowerment programs. These initiatives include See a Man Be a Man, our annual Film Festival, I’ve Known Rivers, and several other culturally, educationally, and spiritually enriching programs. By attending this event, you’ll be contributing to the growth and development of our community’s youth.
The red carpet opens at 6:30 PM, followed by dinner and the show starting at 7 PM. Tickets are priced at $60, which includes both dinner and the show. For those looking to attend with friends or family, tables that seat four are available for $240. Payments can be made via Zelle to famlisoul@gmail.com.
In addition to the incredible lineup of classic soul and R&B artists, the event will feature special guest performances by tenor extraordinaire Mr. William Jordan Jr. from Las Vegas, Nevada, and the incredible vocal force Mr. Jason Powell from San Francisco, California.
