2nd Annual Da Root: Mentoring to Save a Generation Conference

The 2nd Annual Da Root conference at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in Watts was designed to benefit high-school-age parents and children, with expert speakers and panelists sharing practical strategies to manage anxiety, promote mental wellness and achieve academic success.
The day ran from an 8:30 AM breakfast and registration through breakout sessions on the nine critical life themes of the Da Root curriculum, to closing remarks from founder Torrénce Brannon-Reese.
