Da Root Conference design is from the curriculum of the same name, that powers our youth and community programs and employs nine foundation principals or, critical life themes, including; Spirituality, Culture, Career, Education, Economics, Politics, Health, Family and Personal Responsibility. Participants will be given a brief definition of these salient life themes, and will engage in critical discourse around the themes, and will end up by articulating (visually, orally, spoken word, acting, etc.) their understanding of said themes and will chart written goals in each of these nine areas of life. These nine goals will form the basis of a nine point plan for their lives moving forward.

Our Root Conference provides attendees with swag bags that contain light snacks, critical articles, commemorative t-shirts, caps, and other goodies courtesy of our organization, supporters, and sponsors. The swag bag also includes a booklet packed with resources that can aid youth in finding purpose, direction, holistic healing, and career/job opportunities.

To conclude, our conference’s primary focus is on treatment, solutions, and holistic healing while addressing the societal challenges that impact human mental health. We thank you for your support, prayers, affirmations, and positive energy.
