33rd Annual Malcolm X Legacy Celebration & Festival

Commemorating the centennial of Malcolm X’s birth, the day began with street sign unveilings along Crenshaw Boulevard officially dedicating the Malcolm X Corridor, with Congresswoman Maxine Waters and Councilwoman Heather Hutt, and continued with the 33rd Annual Malcolm X Legacy Celebration & Festival in the Leimert Park Black Arts Village.
Under the theme Human Rights By Any Means Necessary, the festival brought live music, fashion, spoken word, youth activities, film, food and vendors.
