Community Arts ProgramA cultural exchange coming from the great African American tradition of New Orleans Brass Band and jazz. Taught and performed in Leimert Park, Los Angeles.
Led by Torrence Brannon-Reece, Everything With Soul hosts a vibrant bi-monthly brass band procession through the Crenshaw Live District.
This is a free socially distanced event, and everyone is invited to join in. This 2nd Line is dedicated to the preservation or the memory of some of Los Angeles’s Nawlins transplants, who helped keep the culture flowing & alive including:

- Harold Hambrick
- Billy Diamond, and more…
The New Orleans music you hear at each performance is spiritually driven, and culturally rich. Soul music, as defined by Louis “Satchmo” Armstrong, Billie “Lady Day” Holiday, Wilson Pickett, Little Willie John, Sam & Dave, Wilson Pickett, Dinah Washington, Charlie Parker, Glady’s Knight, Clyde McPhatter, Al Green, Johnny Taylor and many others, is the creative manifestation of the very essence of a human being.
