LOS ANGELES, CA – The Foundation for Arts, Mentoring, Leadership, and Innovation (FA-MLI Inc) is thrilled to announce its summer fundraiser event, “New Orleans, Return of the Native Son.” This exclusive evening is dedicated to celebrating the rich and vibrant culture of New Orleans jazz.

FA-MLI Inc is renowned for its dedication to promoting arts, education, and cultural experiences. The event promises attendees an immersive experience into the world of New Orleans jazz. Entertainment will be headlined by Torrence Brannon-reese & the “Everything with Soul (EWS) music project.” Attendees can look forward to live concerts, interactive workshops, and an exhibition showcasing the history and evolution of jazz in New Orleans.

Special Announcement:
We are honored to announce that our headliner for the evening is the legendary Norman Carter of The Delfonics. Carter’s soulful melodies and iconic performances have left an indelible mark on the music industry, and his presence promises to elevate the evening to an unforgettable experience.

In addition to the musical performances, the event will feature school-based workshops, arts-education forums, and opportunities for attendees to learn more about the significance of jazz in American culture.

Purpose of the Fundraiser:

All proceeds from this event will directly fund FA-MLI Inc’s yearly trip to New Orleans in October. This trip is an integral part of our initiative to immerse participants in the authentic New Orleans jazz culture, providing them with firsthand experiences and educational opportunities.
